MandC
I sent a mail to the address I found on the immi.gov.au site and asked something about the documentation we attach on our application. This is the reply I got, but I do not understand what they want me to do. Also, the email addresses mentioned - its not my email addresses, I have no idea whose they are...What do I do with this??? Dear Sir/Madam, Thank you for your e-mail in relation to your visa application under Australia's General Skilled Migration programme. It is noted that you have used an email address that is not the email address 'info@howtomigrate.com authorised for contact for this visa application. AndreaL
Hi thereIt looks like some sort of communication mix up.I would just re-submit your query via the link provided For any further enquiries about the application you have lodgedpleaserefer to our website using the following linkhttp://www.immi.gov.au/contacts/visa-enqui...ofessionals.htmIf you again receive such a confusing mail- email back confirming the means of communication you requested in your application. At the bottom of the mail it does tell you what to do if you have received the email in error- I would do what it says there.Good luck. GTrotter
Very Strange. Did you use an agent perhaps to apply or do it yourself?
Taegan
It's because you have used Go Matilda agents - they are the only authorised contact. You can't send them emails, only they can ... You will have to ask Go Matilda to enquire on your behalf. The only other thing you could do is fill in the form to ADD yourself as a contact otherwise the DIAC won't talk to you.If you have no idea who Go Matilda is .. I would contact them again ASAP to rectify this.

Pine and Riana Pienaar
Last resort phone their contact centre early morning. It costs a bit and requires hoding on quite a bit but you usually get the info you need.
Brick
Make sure that the email you used is the one you authorised them to communicate to you with.
AndreaL
See, that is just it. I didn't use anybody, I did it on my own, and I have no idea who this go matilda is...Guys, Go Matilda is another forum for migration to Oz Go Matilda ForumsDid you by any chance use any of their agents to submit your application? If not then you have received this mail in error then you have to notify the sender ( DIAC) and delete the message under the privacy act- it tells you this in your mail.Send the mail back to them and tell them that emma@gomatilda.com is not the authorised email contact you provided in your application. This is their mistake not yours. Then use the visa enquiry link they provided to ask your original question again. Finally, Is there any possibility that you quoted either your case file number/ transaction reference number/ passport number incorrectly on your query? This could possibly explain the mix up.The onus is on you to return the mail and ensure that DIAC have the correct reference number and email address for your application.p.s It doesn't hurt to have them pull up your file- much better than being at the bottom of the pile!Good luck, I hope you resolve this quickly. Omzig
Could be a dynamic IP mix-up. Your IP address, when you sent the query, could have been the same as GoMathilda's IP address last time "Emma" sent a query from the same ISP in South Africa. It's somewhat improbable, because it implies a few strange system design decisions, but not impossible. It's more likely, as AndreaL pointed out, to be a misinterpretation of some sort of a reference number (if it's captured by a human, that's very probable).I'd re-send the query, and only then bother with a telephonic follow-up.BTW, regarding your introductory post in Foyer, welcome to the forum, and best of luck! If we can help, let us know.
