Dedrei
Just a bit curious How come MODL visa applications, which are supposed to be priority, only differ by two weeks from Non-MODL applications? Just doesn't make sense....
Cindylou
Hey DedreiI think you'll find the longer you follow these things less and less makes sense! Some time ago the priority apps were about three months ahead of non priority and the gap has closed to the present level. Also, our app (non priority) was in on 22 May and our CO allocated on 20 Dec, but some people who applied at the same time as we did are still waiting for a CO! *shrug*C

Thanks for the update. A bit depressing as they are moving so slow !! We are now trying to get my husband a sponsor in order to try and speed things up a bit. Cindylou
Hi MandyWe lodged our application in May, CO allocated in Dec, Meds submitted in Jan, PCC submitted two weeks ago and now we wait. If nothing else this process teaches you patience; the parent visa is probably the worst, the current processing time is about 15 years!Good luck with the wait and use the time to tie up loose ends, visit all your favourite SA places and start sorting through your possessions! Spending time with some family at a game reserve in March and end April visiting Dullstroom with other membes of the family. So the scrap book are packed with photos ! Cindylou
They send them to the processing centre in Sydney (not directly to a CO) with your application reference number. You should find your number on the acknowledgement receipt letter. Just an idea, and could save about two months waiting!Cindy

Information about the Local Clearance Unit including their address is available at http://www.immi.gov.au/contacts/australia/.../lcu-sydney.htmBefore attending a health examination applicants need to:1. Print off the required numbers of forms 26 and/or 160 to present tothe panel doctor and radiologist; and2.
