Riekie Posted June 11, 2008 Report Share Posted June 11, 2008 At the bottom of every post on this forum, there is a little button (bottom left of post) : REPORT! This button is used to report a post to the host team. If you click on this button an Email is sent to every host with a link to that specific post. By following this method, whichever host is online at that moment, will be able to view the post (via the link) and act quickly. If you PM a host, that host will only see the PM whenever they are online again, which may be in 3 weeks time if they are on holiday etc. Members often PM the hosts and refer to a thread by subject, content or member name and that host has to search through all the threads & posts to try & find the relevant post - often without success. (We've had a big issue about a post which was reported - via PM, no link or even the name of the thread! - and the relevant member ended up badmouthing the forum. Not nice.... Please don't PM us - use the REPORT! button, it is there for your benefit and will make our response time much more effective. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
