eddie
As iemand my dalk kan help sal ek dit vreeslik wardeer. Mara
Hi EddieI agree, it is a mountain of paperwork that you require, however, once you have gathered your paperwork, all you have to do is complete your application forms. If you use an agent, he is not going to gather your paperwork for you, you still have to do that yourself, he is not going to complete your application either, you have to do that as well! All he can do is to check out your completed paperwork and application and submit your application. I personally think that anybody can do that. I know some people have special circumstances, in which case it may be easier to use and agent to lead you through the process.I think if you tell us all a bit more about yourself, what you do, how old you are, what experience you have, etc., then perhaps it will be easier to advise you. There are a number of people on this forum who can give you excellent advice!Mara
Michelle
Om 'n sponsor te kry moet jy of familie in Australie he of jy moet werk soek. Dreamcatcher
Groetnis,Dreamy

Mara
Hi EddieTo start with, as Michelle said, you need to get your unabridged birth certificates for each member in your household. You also need to get an unabridged marriage certificate for you and your wife. You need to ensure that everyone has a valid passport, preferably for the next 4-5 years. If you wish to check out the Australian immigration site, go to http://www.immi.gov.au/For work check out the followinghttp://www.seek.com.au/http://mycareer.com.au/This should get you started.Mara

Leon.
Hi EddieI just got sponsorred by a company in Perth, I suggest you go to the websites of all the big companies you can find, I had a lot more successs from the companies self rather than from the agencies.PM me your e-mail and I wil send you a list of engineering companies in Aus.The company that sponsorred me is looking for maintenance fitters, so if you or any one else knows some one that is looking to be sponsorred, send me their cv and I will pass it on to my new boss.Good luckLeon Edited August 30, 2006 by Leonp
Sulona
Hi Eddie,Just want to say I know the whole application process looks like Mount Everest from where you are standing, but rather do it yourself, we paid an agency to assist us in our applications and I regret it almost everyday. Just one more thing, take the advice of the others that had replied to your posting, start applying for jobs on the website mentioned by Mara, that’s what we are doing and this week my husband got 2 e-mails of companies that are willing to sponsor him if his job application is successful, and we didn't even request a sponsorship, but if they offer we are certainly not gonna decline.Best of luck with the job hunting and visa application.Sulona

Leon.
Dit is nie so moeilik nie.SterkteLeon
