It often happens that a specific post in a specific thread in a specific sub-forum causes a bit of an upset and then the questions: "Why don't the hosts do something about it?" "Why do the hosts allow this?" "Where are the hosts?" etc. There is no way for the hosts to know about a post unless it's brought to their attention by the members or unless they accidentally stumble across it.
Every post has an option to report it by clicking on "Report". By using this option, a message is sent to each & every host and the first host to receive it, could take action. Not all the hosts are online all the time and it is the best way to ensure the fastest response. Some members choose to PM a specific host, but that host may be at work/on annual leave/sick or whatever and may not be able to attend to the situation within a reasonable time. If you want quick action, do something quick and click.
