  2. Hi guys! I have a questions for teachers who are currently in WA. I have sent through all my docs and registration forms to WATRB. How long does the assessment and registration take? And what about the Working with children check? I know I can only do it in person, but can I at all apply for teaching positions without this card? Cause this seems highly impossible, but I know of some teachers who were able to get a job from RSA and then only apply for the WWCC card once they arrive. We land in Perth on the 2nd of Jan 2014. Any advice would be helpful.
  3. Hallo everyone! I am a teacher and I'm applying Western Australian Sponsorship. We really want to go to Perth but we have to select 2 other regions too. Which one's would you suggest: Christmas and Cocos Island; Gascoyne; Goldfields Esperance; Great Southern; Mid West; Peel; South West or Wheat Belt. I've reseached Perth but none of the others. The area really should be highly populated because that means more working opportunities for me (because there will be more schools.   4. I cannot seem to find any information on google wrt State Sponsorship applications that have been lodged before July but have not received a result yet before the changes take place. My question is, if one receives a positive outcome that was lodged before 1 July, after the July changes, would one be able to submit your DIAC application based on the positive result or would you still fall under the SkillSelect changes? The stress is really starting to set in now - as we have yet to have the Skills Assessment! Victoria University gives a maximum of 10 weeks, that would leave us somewhere in th
