Ours is a weird case as we actually lodged in May 2014, between the lodging and the CO being assigned, on the day of the medicals, we found out we were pregnant with our second child...everything then went on hold.

After having our beautiful baby girl, getting her documents in order, our medicals and PCCs everything is finally with the CO as of Monday 13 April...holding thumbs its quick from here as we want to leave towards the end of June....

I just want to find out something. Our agent informed us that we only should go for our medicals once our CO has been appointed and same with Police clearance. Is that really advisable or can we start at least with the PC?

I would say go for both. The medicals gets uploaded within 2 days and the pcc takes about 2 weeks...

Glad to say, that our application for a 189 VISA was lodged today. So now the wait begins. Easier than most, as we are already in Aus on a 457.

Day 29, now I fully understand what others talked about "the waiting is killing me". It feels like 3 months already ?

On the completion of my information within the immiaccount, it asked if I had done a health assessment, can I select "no" submit my application and then submit my medicals to the case officer later or should I do the health assessment before I submit my application.

Thank you

Sorry JAPelser, I have no idea, worked through an agent. But we were instructed not to do medicals before we get a CO. I know of other people on the blog who did medicals after they submitted. Good luck!

Have anybody noticed a slowdown in CO allocation / VISA grants over the last few days? Or maybe it's just the waiting getting to me.

Hi all for tracking purposes we are just going to join this thread - we applied for a 190 Visa with state nomination from WA. Application submitted 15 April 2015, CO assigned, request for additional information and form 80 sent by CO on 14 May, additional information plus form 80 submitted18 May.

If you are asked for form 80 does this mean your application will be denied? We sent through certified proof of all claims made in our application.

There is a notice on the immi website stating processing and invitation will continue as per usual but that there are limited spaces available for the 2014/2015 year for GSM visas. I am sure this won't affect April submissions though, the notice went up beginning May when they started allocating applications from 31 march onward.

Hi,

Nope, I don't think you have anything to worry about (re Form 80) we submitted that form with our original application, but it seems that most people wait until asked for it prior to uploading it. I'm certain someone else would be able to give more info as to why it is only needed sometimes.

Just got an e-mail from our VPO requesting our PCC's. They had me worried for a bit (after seeing the Leavingforgood had their VPO already) but 55 days after applying is probably not to bad. No we just have to wait for SAPS to get their act together...
