I have no contacts or knowledge about your industry however it may be worthwhile investigating the Aus Furniture Association for their member's directory.

When you search for members - a tip: just put in a space and enter. Hopefully you get a list.

Don't be put off with the clause: "only visa holders and residents to apply" - they have to state that by law. Put your application and resume out there and make it clear that you are looking to permanently relocate to Australia. It is not uncommon for forumites to land jobs and sponsorships that way. Alternatively, if they do not want to sponsor you, you could work through a labour hire company. They essentially sponsor your employment visa and hire you out to the employer. They would much rather take you on if you have a job offer.
