Family coming to visit

Hi!

My sister-in-law will be coming for a short 4 day trip to Sydney in August. Now, previously, when my mom and my sister came to visit, we used to send a Letter of Invitation which they submitted with their visa application. This letter was always addressed to the Australian Embassy in Hatfield. With the new online visa application process, to who do you now address the Letter of Invitation to?

We just did one online for my MIL, and addressed it "To whom it may concern"

No issues, 3 month visa in a under a week

we went overboard and submitted lots of paperwork though, just in case, you have lots of options on the application area

Thanks! On another forum someone said they didn't need to provide the letter anymore since applying online. I'll give my sister-in-law one just in case.

Did a visitors visa for my outlaws in November 2014 to go visit my BIL in December, we did not attach a letter of invite from my BIL and just did the application online, received Visa within 5 days of application.

My mother will travel with me and my 2 children to Brisbane in April, when we will join my husband. She will return 10 days later by herself. Do I have to give her a letter of invitation even if we are travelling together? What is the cost now for a visitor visa?
