Hi All

This is my first post, but I must firstly say thank you to ALL contributors as all the info posted on here is of immense value and I have, personally, already relied greatly on the what I have learnt. Thank you!

My question is quite simple and hopefuly one of my colleagues (or anyone else for that matter) can assist. I am a lawyer in SA and have commenced the process to do my conversion to be admitted in Australia (I still live in SA). Unfortunately due to the postal strike I only received my New South Wales Admissions Board Exemption letter a couple weeks ago and it seems I may have missed enrolment for this year's varisty curriculum.

So basically what I would like to know is, does any one have an idea if any of the acceptable varsties are still open for 2015 for the necessary conversion subjects alternatively can anyone advise whether they have experienced this and how they got around it - I REALLY DONT WANT TO WAIT TILL NEXT YEAR.

Thanks again everyone, keep the threads coming..

I would honestly suggest that you call the university of your choice, explain your predicament to them and ask for mercy... you may well find them to be kind towards you...

The board gave me a list of suitable universities with my letter, also, not every uni gives the subjects in the same semester.

If you can do it through any university I suggest Deakin as their online program is fantastic.

I did min through Deakin and college of law ( Melbourne) and completed my work experience in Sydney but got admitted in Melbourne as my assessment was though Victoria.
