Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Reviewing monthly results with relevant internal stakeholders
  • Review monthly projects via Job cost ledger
  • Coordinate forecast/budget for the business
  • Reconciliation of inventory to General Ledger
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations
  • Prepare and process end of month journals with supporting documentation
  • Prepare capital expenditure requests
  • Ensure Internal transactions balanced on a monthly basis
  • Preparation of monthly reports eg: capital expenditure / debtor days etc
  • Submit Petty cash reconciliations and claims
  • Support administrators to understand process flows and conduct training

The successful applicant will have a tertiary qualification in in finance and ideally be CPA qualified or studying towards CPA qualifications. You will bring with you a minimum of 4 years work experience in a similar role and a strong willingness to learn and develop with our business.

Essential Skills:

  • Accounting Degree or equivalent
  • 4 + years' experience in a similar role
  • Proven ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work within a team and autonomously
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to look for process improvement where required
