General electrical trade assessment study material

We are wondering it there's anyone that can help us with study metrical for my husband's trade assessment, we are currently still waiting for a date in the mean time he will like to start preparing for his practicals.

Sorry cant help with study materials but do have a look at some old threads on the site. the Assessment is like a small / Mini Trade test (olifantsfontein) the only difference is that there

is some N2/N3 calculations in there as well.

Hi so we got the date for 4 march 2015....

Got a lot of info on other forums but anything spesific will help.

task 1 : wiring instalation: two light switch with a socket outlet in pvc conduit and surfix,

test instalation ir test and continity and volts. bonding.

is there somthing we missed?

task 2 : lock out been working throug the fact sheet steps we got .

task 3 : thory test. what do they ask on lighting and motors alos rms and elv?

task 4 : dol should be fine any tips will still help.

Everything went well he's feeling very positive! He's got a lot of information and tips for everyone. He is flying back from cape town on Friday I will ask him to post all the information.
