Job Description

Responsible for maintaining regional customer facing network infrastructure. Responsibilities include but not limited to configuring, monitoring and troubleshooting LAN, VPN and customer private connections, firewall/ security, monitoring bandwidth usage/analyzing data traffic patterns and assuring network uptime meets corporate needs. Duties include providing on call support after hours and on holidays (rotation).

Education and Experience

¨ In depth knowledge TCP/IP concepts

¨ Cisco CCNP or Juniper JNCIP certifications required.

¨ Minimum six years of network experience in configuring, managing and troubleshooting of Cisco devices.

¨ Strong BGP / OSPF protocols understanding, configuration and troubleshooting skills.

¨ Strong understanding of STP and L2 related security features

¨ Strong understanding of IPSec and SSL VPN technologies

¨ Good understanding of WAN technologies, including, but not limited to MPLS

¨ Experience with Cisco Catalyst and Juniper EX series of switches

¨ Experience with Cisco ASA firewalls and Juniper SRX service gateways

¨ Experience with managing secure environments (e.g. PCI)

¨ Experience with WAN acceleration technology

¨ Experience with traffic load balancing technology
