vanSchoorFamily
I wonder if someone could assist me please?I would like to find out; if you are a mechanic, you obviously start working in the said trade immediately, to obtain experience and your trade test qualification? Is that included in your work experience for points, or do they only work with "post trade" work experience? For example: if you have been working in your line of trade for 10 years, but you have only been qualified for 4 years - is your experience 4 or 10 years?Points based skilled overseas employment states: "In the 10 years immediately prior to receiving an invitation, you have been employed outside Australia in your nominated skilled occupation or a closely related skilled occupation, for a period TOTALING at least 36 / 60 / 96 months?"From what i understand, it the total nr of years, irrelevant post / pre-trade? I might be wrong and i dont want to submit an EOI / Visa only to hear from the case officer its post-trade and loose my money? PLEASE HELP?
