Jacques Leemans
HI All I just got my English test results back, and the overall score is 7, does that mean i can now apply on skills select ?Do they go on the overall score, or do they work on the individual scores of the 4 areas ?And then another thing, should i wait to do the skill select application until my wife has done her English test, or can i apply so long ?Thanks again guys This is always helpful! 1978
I believe if you are claiming points for superior English then you will need at least 8 on each part of the IELTS.
charmz
Unfortunately they would take your mark on which ever you band you received the lowest on - as your overall mark.Further more if you achieve 1/2 for something - they will round the mark down to the nearest whole number As unfair as it sounds ... Maligso
As far as I am aware for skills select (Accountant) I needed 7's or above - average not used. So when I wrote I got 7 for writing and 8's for rest on the Academic test and my agents used this test results to get my positive skills assessment. I then had to rewrite - did General as slightly easier - to get all 8's (average does not come into it) to get visa English max points.
