Unabridged Birth Certificates / Passports

Just some very exciting and positive news to all stressing about application / processing time for unabridged birth certificates / passports.

We went to Kempton Park Home Affairs on Saturday 16 August 2014 @ 08:00 (opening time). There were no ques at all.

We went around the corner to take pics and went back. Received all the paperwork for 3 passports and 2 unabridged birth certificates and sat in line while filling in the application documents ... a gizilian of them, LOL

Passports: We received the 1st ready sms on 25 Aug, 2nd on 28 Aug and last on 03 Sep, collected them 07:30 with no que on Friday morning 04 Sep ... took 20 min.

Unabridged birth certificates: Received ready sms today 16 September 2014, exactly 1 month after application

Anyways,

There is a light at the end of the tunnel ... if you stay positive, thing happen very VERY quickly ... cant wait to get to OZ

Me and my son's unabridged took 2 weeks, it's been 2 months now and still waiting on my wife and daughter's...

Normally on Saturday's it's the best day to go to home affairs, usually very quiet. The other members of the population only go there when they can stay away from work..
