Cole
Hi folks, My husband is worried about the IELTS that he's writing in Sept (his spelling and grammar are not the best). He needs a score of 6 for his skills assessment, but the visa could benefit from 7's or 8's. My question is, if he meets the base requirements of 6 for his skills assessment, can he redo the IELTS after that, get higher marks, and submit those (newer) marks for the EOI/Visa, or must he submit the same IELTS that he submitted for his Skills Assessment? Thanks so much. DeepFriedMatt
HiThe skills assessment and visa application are completely separate processes. He can definitely write the IELTS again to get higher scores for the visa application. There are many people on the forum who have the done the same thing with no problems at all. Cheers
