tonyt
Hello, I am considering the move to Australia but am concerned about my 6 year old that has some learning difficulties. We are most likely going to keep him in back in grade R this year and my concearn really is if we move to Australia, will the public schools be adequate and is the schooling system geared for learners that are struggling. His current public school here in SA has a very good support system and I know he will be fine here. What is your experience with the public schools in Aus? Riekie
Yes absolutely! You have no reason for concern - their programs for learning difficulties and disabilities of all levels are great!
DXB2OZ
Have found both the school and the students to be incredibly supportive and inclusive. It's amazing.
Mel-B
No experience myself, but I've heard that the support is great in Australia.
