When we applied for our ENS 856 (now the 186) because we had not been out of Australia, we just presented our old p.c.c's, also DIBP does understand that it is really hard to get documents from some countries, so be upfront with them about it, if you can get the form and get family to hand deliver and collect, that might help. Its not Oz that wants the police clearance, its 'my' country. Before approaching them about alternative solutions, I wanted to get some facts sorted out first. (We have pr here).I saw your prev post, but was hoping that somebody out there has more recent experience and/or can point me in the direction of where to get more information. We have family/friends in Namibia but I cant chase them around to find out, they are happy to help but need to know where to go and what to do for me.Information for SA police clearance seems straight forward (although have requested one in the past and never got it - yes, I know all that finger printing mess...).
