Another piece of advice if you have submitted applications yourself is to phone regularly. I called today and lwo and behold all our docs are sitting waiting for us at our home affairs branch. No call/sms anything to let us know they are there. I called the toll free number 0800601190 and was actually quite impressed with the service. Just have everybodies ID numbers on hand that you want to check and they can let you know where your docs are sitting

A reference to home affairs and good service in the same paragraph, that has to be a first. So glad I don't have to deal with them anymore.

If only we could find someone who can sort out tax affairs as fast as this Faried.
