KirstyS
Hi there, After just 5 weeks from submitting my skills assessment we are at visa lodgment stage so it's been a very quick trip so far )I never thought my skills assessment would be only 3 weeks - they said 8 - 10 weeks! And so I thought I better introduce ourselves here. We are still not sure exactly where we will live in Australia or our time frames as my oldest son has 18 months left of High School which I would like him to complete here. Just wanted to say hi, and if anyone has advice for a developer programmer as to where the best jobs are I am all ears )
HadEnoughofJuju
Hey KirstyS, welcome to the forum and congrats on the skills assessment. That truly was a quick one. So there is hope for faster processing times. Good luck with the rest of the process. As for jobs, especially in the IT industry, it's normally better ro fo to the major cities like Brissie, Melbourne or Sydney. There's not a lot of work for developers out in the sticks.
