SurferMan
Hi folks,After a bit of heaving and froing, I finally got ACS to give me a formal position on my study in Aus. For those in SA or in Aus, if you do the ACS CPeP (Certified Computing Professional) you will get assessed as having AQF level 7, which is a Post. Graduate Diploma/bachelors degree. That means you only need 2 years work experience with it. In addition, the CPeP is ICT Major accredited, so it means you are far more likely to get in than with a non-ICT degree.I am posting this to help inspire the folks in SA who don't have a degree (As I did back then) to look at this as an option. it is run via CSSA, so it is a great platform to get a recognised qualification in a relatively short period of time.So now I am exempt from having to try and find/beg SA companies to give me reference letters. :ilikeit:
