TRN for "paper application"

Waaaaaaay back (2009) we applied with what they then called a "paper Application". We couriered our huge thick envelope with all the application documents ect. We never received a TRN. Last month we got a CO and I have: Applicant ID and File nr. but nowhere a TRN. I want to check my status online but I must enter a TRN..... When I try to get a TRN they keep asking about online applications ect. and I just get "automatic replies"

Please help!

Hey miran, the best thing to do is to just drop your CO an email and ask them if they can send you the TRN, that's assuming you are not using an agent or other designated contact person. If you are then they will have to make the request for the TRN to the CO.


P.S. Your TRN number may also be in the subject line of any emails that you have already received form your CO, maybe even in the body of the mail. I remember our emails had the CO's name, contact details and TRN number at the end of each email in the signature.
