Ienkie pienkie ponkie
Suid Afrika eet nou donkie
Hiekerie diekerie dok
ons maalvleis is nou bok
Taragie taragoe
ons eet biltong kangeroe
Kul jou hie kul jou daa
ons steaks is nou Sebra

Viskoekies in die Baai
bestaan meestal nou uit haai.
daai hoender wat so dril
is dikwels krokodil
Die salami aan die hak
is dalk ? Taiwannese brak
en die sagte pienk polonie
dalk net ? Shetland ponie
maar dis als die moeite werd
die arme Britte kry net perd

Inky Pinky Ponky
South Africa now eats donkey
Hickory Dickory Doc
Our Mince meat is now croc
Taragie taragoe
Our biltongs made of kangaroo
A-bra-ca-dabra
Our steaks are now zebra

Fish cakes in the bay
Are now made of hay
And the chicken that roars
Could well be just a boar
The salami on the hook
Is nothing more than snoek
That lovely pink polony
Is made from shetland pony

It's all worthwhile of course
Because all the British will get is horse.

Following in the footsteps of AustRoads South Africa has added Zimbabwe, Namibia, Swaziland and Botswana to the list of countries with recognised driver experience. In order to convert the following things will need to be presented at the department of horse, donkey and cow transportation affairs.

1. Valid herders license.
2. R2000.00 conversion fee.
3. Poop scoop.
4. 2 x I'd Photos.
5. Copy of work permit.

A further R500.00 will be levied for the issuing of your photo drivers licence.

And another R35 administration fee. Have you noticed it was sneakily added to vehicle license about 4 years ago?  :P

That poem is hilarious.

Except for the common mistake of thinking that Taiwanese eat dog.

It's the Chinese that eat dog. The Taiwanese treat their dogs like children and are disgusted by the idea of eating dog.

I forgot to add that immunisation cards will also be required for registration of new vehicles.

In this country it seems anything goes...

Next we will hear the SPCA launching an investigation into the contents of Monkey Gland sauce and Black Cat Peanut Butter.

@ Toitjie --- eeeeeeuw !   Hahaha,  as children we've often played with those two words,  'imagining' it's been made of what the name indicates.  I do wonder though why Monkey Gland sauce is called Monkey Gland sauce ... ???

Oh boy,  we're looooong been  :offtopic:  !!

But it's all fun.   :)

I think with China next door, where pretty much anything is considered food, from dogs to giant snakes, this would seem tame :)

Sorry, just can't help myself. :whome:

Yanky Doodle went to town
riding on his pony
put some mayo on it's back
and called it pink polony.
