How do you get to see the comments now? Or is a case of media control.

Listening to it live on Cape Talk / 702 now. Listen to the live streaming on www.702.co.za or www.capetalk.co.za - it's about to start now.

I think it is a browser issue.
I've noticed the same thing since Firefox's recent upgrade, in fact, I suddenly have some mouse click problems with YouTube as well.
Try Internet Explorer as a test and it should work fine.

Malema: Guilty as charged
2012-02-04 15:41
Mandy Rossouw, City Press
Johannesburg - Guilty as charged.
This was the verdict of the ANC’s appeals committee in the case of Julius Malema and his top four lieutenants, announced at Luthuli House on Saturday.
The National Disciplinary Committee of Appeal (NDCA), led by ANC NEC member Cyril Ramaphosa, told journalists that all the charges against Malema are being upheld.
The decision was communicated to the youth league shortly before making it public, he said.
Malema’s only reprieve is that he will be able to go back to the ruling party’s disciplinary committee and ask for a lesser sentence.
But this is a political gamble, because the ANC may then appeal for a harsher sentence, which may increase the number of years that Malema will be suspended from the ANC.
The disciplinary committee suspended him for five years, but he can technically now be kicked out of the ANC straight away because he was threatened with suspension in 2010 as well.
At the time, the disciplinary committee told Malema if he was to be found guilty again within the following two years he would be kicked out of the ANC.
This time around Malema was charged with sowing divisions for comparing president Jacob Zuma to former president Thabo Mbeki as well as for propagating regime-change in Botswana, both of which go against the constitution of the ANC.
The only charge that was dropped by the appeals’ committee was a minor one – when Malema and his co-leaders in the ANC Youth League top five barged into a meeting of the ANC’s top six officials.
Ramaphosa said there was no evidence they did this “deliberately”.
Appeal
He said that Malema and his team will have two weeks to prepare arguments to present their case to the National Disciplinary Committee (NDC).
In his statement Ramaphosa had harsh words for Malema’s appeal attempt.
Using words like “ridiculous” and “absurd” to describe Malema’s grounds for appeal, Ramaphosa made it clear his committee had little regard for Malema’s complaints.
A separate charge against the ANCYL secretary-general Sindiso Magaqa was upheld. Magaqa publicly insulted former ANCYL president and current minister of public enterprises Malusi Gigaba.
The charge against Malema’s right-hand man, Floyd Shivambu, was also upheld – he insulted a journalist by telling him to “f*** off”.

If you think he's gone you' re dreaming. He'll be back. He's not qualified to do anything, other than be a politician. And the back handlers will dry up while he's suspended, so effectively his income has been taken away.
He'll be back.

Try this workaround (add-on) for Firefox until the problem is fixed:

Either way, I don't see him just leaving into the sunset. He has tasted the high life, and I doubt he'll give it up.

Thank you... my new found computer expert.... maybe you know what is going on here also... " Firefox is configured to use a proxy server that is refusing connections". I then have to go to settings and click on "use system proxy" or " auto-detect" to get the page to load.
In your opinion would I be better just using another browser- what would you recommend?
I've been thinking about getting someone in to have a look, but would be paying $100 straight up and then time..... I'd rather work it out myself.

You're welcome, but no, I'm not an expert. I'll try to help though.
I'm not sure what the problem is, however, if you set it to "use system proxy", or the other one, and it runs smoothly but doesn't keep the setting when exiting, then something else might be wrong. It could be malware or some of the add-ons. Try disabling some add-ons and see what happens.
Use Malwarebytes to scan for malware. It's free and works really well.
If everything fails, simply set the settings to "no proxy".
I would suggest Google Chrome as an alternative.

Thank you very much.
You do seem to know a fair bit, so in my eyes that makes you an expert
I will have a play around and see what happens. I used to use google chrome and then switched to firefox for some reason. I was a bit worroed to mess round with the proxy thing too much.... this wasn't a problem until around 2 months ago. I suspect malware, trying to get the kids to not click on everything on the page when they are online is a nightmare, I've got one on you-tube a lot ( despite having a laptop which she says loads to slow) and the youngest is obsessed with minecraft at the moment. I'm forever removing tool-bars and the like.

You probably use iGoogle as a homepage already, so the look and feel will be the same - Chrome is simply the engine. There are also a ton of extras to choose from.
The main menu is at the top, on the right, meaning that bookmark choices open to the left of screen when the mouse pointer hovers over them. I find this somewhat annoying - it's like reading from right to left. But, all in all, Chrome is working really well.
Remember to export/save/backup your Firefox bookmarks and then importing them into Chrome before you uninstall FF. It is not necessary to uninstall FF at all, by the way.
