Hi Everyone

I was just on the Emirates website to look for a ticket for my mum coming to visit in April.

They have adult tickets from JHB to Brisbane,Return for R8317, all fees included.

It is via Dubai but we took the same flight with Emirates in 2007 when we travelled to NZ. We stopped in Dubai and Singapore before getting to Brisbane. Our kids were just 6 and 8 years old at the time. I arranged with them beforehand for the kids to get kiddies meals and they got hotdogs, macaroni and cheese etc. The kids were also spoiled with backpacks with toys etc after every stop.
The entertainment on Emirates is also far beter than Qantas.

It was wonderful flying with Emirates and I'll do it again! Although it looks like a long flight via this route it doesn't feel like it and seeing Dubai and Singapore airports was an experience on its own.

Well, that was just our experience. Just thought that doesn't look like a bad price for tickets (the best price I can get after that is R11300) and wanted to share that with you all.

also have a look at flight centre. flight with Emirates was on R7800.00 about return including taxes. They didn't say for how long it is valid to book, but it is for travel between Jan and Jun

Thanks very much. Checked online again today and seats are fast selling out.
