List of countries an SA passport holder can visit without a visa

hi all,

I have done a search on Google and SA forums but cannot seem to find a list of countries where a South African passport holder can enter without a visa. Don't know what I am doing wrong but I get lots a pages of other countries where visas are not required for travel, but not for SA......could someone help me out with this please...

I went and checked the site, just for interest, and found that it says that you do not need a visa for Australia or NZ as a SA passport holder. Now we all now that is not true. So wonder when last they remembered to update it!

Wikipedia has the best list I've found so far. Basically Asia and South America is relatively visa free for us.

South Africa as far as I know held the point of view if the other country requires a visa from SA, SA also requires visas from them. Tit-for-tat kinda principle and that is how I understood it to be.

I understood that within the Common Weath countries it was not required, but I was very wrong about that one!

Do you want to know for a specific country or is it just out of curiosity? The travel agents usually know too. I never needed one for the UK and Switzerland, but I think we need for any other country. Perhaps I am wrong, but you can trust me on the 2 I mentioned.
